👀 I never thought I'd cover politics. But, when I saw one of my favorite Fashion Content Creators Tina Leung at the DNC, I had to do some research. This shift shows content creators’ growing influence, now even in politics—CharliXCX tweeted that “Kamala is BRAT” and Elon Musk shared a video of a Content Creator at the DNC.
Traditional media is evolving especially as the sphere of influence for content creators grows. Condé Nast’s partnership with OpenAI is a prime example, aiming to monetize their content.
👟 I’m a Nike Stan and excited about their LEGO collab. Will we see integrations like .Swoosh, Fortnite, or Roblox? My Marketing & Strategy brain is on overdrive ideating. Nike DM me to chat. 🏀
💃 Last week, I was in New York meeting up with a friend who was in town. We visited the The MET Museum’s Sleeping Beauties Exhibition, running until September 2, 2024. If you’re into Fashion, don’t miss it!
After I wrote my newsletter, I took my friend to my favorite bagel 🥯 place in NYC and discussed the news from my newsletter including the AI Necklace. The table next to us was watching a TikTok on cucumbers sparking a conversation about Social Media Trends including Demure (also from last week’s newsletter).
This friend isn’t in Tech and told me that this newsletter was great to have topics to talk about. TY J! 🙏🥲
